I was induced with Pitocin, why didn't it work?? Over 24 hours at Kaiser and only dialated to 1 and 70% effaced. Has anyone had this happen?

blah! it's nasty stuff anyways! why were you given pitocin? i've heard of it not working before, it's more common than most people think.

I was given Pitocin because my doc was trying to induce me. I've had extreme pubic pain, and a slight rise of protein in my urine.
