I'm 39w 5d and have been 2cm dilated and 90% effaced for the past 12 days! My last doc appointment 4 days ago my doc didn't even check me because he said i was so close and i couldn't get more ready than i already was from the appointment the week before! I'm having painful contractions DAILY for the past week but not at all regular! I almost feel like i'm starting labor but the contractions are totally too far apart. Any advice mommys..ha ha?

Let me know as soon as you find out, in the same boat, 39 w, 4 d. I feel like the worst part is it's all I can think about ALL day wondering when it's going to happen.

I feel the same way. I actually think that it is not going to happen to me at ALL and I am going to be pregnant forever!!!! I really didn't want to get induced...everynight I pray that tonight is the night! Good luck ladies!

I'm going crazy!!! I lost my mucous plug last night and started having STRONG contractions this morning! After they became 7 minutes apart i called my Dr. and he said go to the hospitial and get checked out. Then after 2 hours there was no change and they sent me home. Since i've been home i've started to have some show and contractions are so much stronger nut NOW they are not at all regular or close. i'm going nuts just sitting in pain and waiting!!!! Men should have the babies...ha ha
