Well I am tired of being pregnant and I will pretty much try anything to get this kid out of me(hehehe!) She really needs to come before X-mas because I already bought her this really cute X-mas outfit!!!

Anyways, I have heard that birth patterns run in your family line and so I asked my mom how long it took her to have me after she lost hers and she said an hour, I lost mine at about 10 a.m. this morning so hopefully I will go into labor soon. Does this sound like a true fact about the whole birth pattern thing if not than what can i believe?
Spicy Food-
The other thing was I have heard spicy food helps with the labor process to move along is this true?

Ok the plug has nothing to do with how long until labor starts. You lose it when your cervix opens even a little bit. I lost mine 3 weeks ago and I am only 3 cm. Now, as far as birth pattens, the number of days before or past your due date and the size of your baby are the things pa__sed on from mother to daughter.
They say spicy food can put you into labor, but that rarley works. The only things that are acctually proven to work are nipple stimulation (which should only be done with supervision b/c it can mess with the babys heart beat), and castor oil. People tend to take too much castor oil and it causes really bad cramping and explosive diarrhea. If you decide to use castor oil, only take 2 tbls AT THE MOST within a 6 hour period.

well with me my mom didnt even feel labor pain until she was pushing me out and with my daughter i felt like i was at 10cm when i was only at 5 and when i went in on sat i was only a three and i felt like when i did when i was at 7cm with my daughter and my mom was in labor with me for 24hrs and my bro 9 hrs with my daughter i was in labor 14 hrs and according to my doc im not going to be in labor very long with this one and my daughter was smaller then me and my brother so really i dont try to go by what my mom went through and on sunday i had chips and dip and the dip was made with rotel and italian sausage so it was pretty spicy and nothing happened but everyone is different you can try it
