low lying placenta is called placenta previera. it means the placenta is covering the cervix. im pretty sure it doesnt fix itself and usually ends up in a c-section. you could look it up on google

I had low lying placenta .. They put me on temp bed rest and it did heal on its own and i had natural v____al delivery .. SO I am not sure, maybe it depends on the severity? ... Just take it easy, dont lift anything .. try to stay off your feet as much as possible .. There is hope

Hi Mandy. I had a ulstrasound when I was 18 weeks pregnant and they told me that I had a low lying placenta. They said it wasn't serious because usually as your uterus grows the placenta will grow upward with it. So I had another ultrasound at 28 weeks and everything was fine, the placenta did move to the right place :) Good luck and don't worry too much!
