HI, I AM 50 PERCENT EFFACED, HOW LONG UNTIL I GO INTO LABOR? AM I EVEN CLOSE? WHEN YOU GUYS WERE EFFACED 50 PERCENT HOW LONG WAS IT UNTIL LABOR? DOES DILATION HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY WATER BREAKING?

Honey who knows when they'll go into labor, i wish we could know forsure, but you'll be fine, just sit back and enjoy the last few wks or days!!

I was 1cm and 50% at 34 weeks, water broke at nearly 38 weeks. It will probably be awhile, don't panic. No, dilation doesn't matter about your water breaking.

My mother went 3 cm dialtated and 75% effaced for 3 months and I went 2.5 cm dialted and 50% effaced for 2 months. Who knows? It' will just happen.

I am 1 cm at 34 wks and hoping it will be awhile. How far along are you? There is no way of knowing when you will start or not. I also have been losing my mucus plug over the last two days too. GL
