Rubbing Alcohol In Warm Water

Hi I am 40 weeks 2days pregnant & very UNCOMFORTABLE and was told by several people to get some rubbing alcohol put it in warm water and I should start labor within 24 hrs is this true? is it safe??? and why does it work?? SOMEONE HELP PLEASE??

Hi I am also 40 weeks and 2 days. You live in Georgia because I do too. I have never heard anything about rubbing alcohol but I dont know if I would try it....

I don't think that sounds like a good idea. I've never read the bottle but I wouldn't think it is meant to be taken internally. If your desperate try castor oil its much safer than I think rubbing alchol would be.
