Separation Of Pubic Symphysis And Tail Bone Breakage

Does anyone know anything about separation of pubic symphysis during birth? does it have to do with size of the baby? with your pelvic size? any info? Also about breaking your tail bone...

I have it and I think a large baby is part of it, but most of it depends on how you labor. My mistake was a midwife who it seems had me push before being fully dilated. She also had me push against two nurses with my legs very wide apart. I knew something was wrong, but she wouldn't listen. I was in such a state after labor she had to call a doctor to examine me. I'm pregnant again and now forced to use a wheelchair. Crutches didn't make any difference. I'm getting therapy which helps some. I have many things going on with the new baby and myself on top of this. This time I'm seeing a doctor. I know of many that suffer for years and I'm not risking it. There are a few good sites with information if you do a search. It's difficult to find doctors in the US that understand the condition. Do you think you have it or are you trying to avoid it?
