I am 39 +1 weeks pregnant and I am so frustrated! I was been back and forth to the hospital to only be disappointed and sent home within hours. I am 3cm dilated and 60% effaced...I was scheduled for induction this morning to only be disappointed again and called to have it canceled. Believe that ~ 30 minutes before I was due to go in they called me to cancel! They rescheduled it for Monday at 7:30am. I have had my membranes stripped 3 times already (today will be my 4th time). This little girl of mine "hates me" I just know it! What can I do to hurry this up?
I am Literally in pain! I injured my back in December (back specialist thinks I may of herniated a disc~ unsure cause of the pregnancy and not wanting to do x-rays) and now the weight of the baby...lets just say I am so miserable I can't stand it any longer. Please help me and give me some suggestions or a little encouragement of some sorts.

I am sorry you are going though this. It seems like your doc could put through an orer anyways though...in spite of the hospital for medical resaons...ie:your back issues. Call your doc and talk to him. Pregnancy is miserable anyways, I can't imagine having to go through it with a herniated disc...GL! LEt us know!

I have spoke to her several times regarding my back issues and the pain I am in...just doesn't seem to worry her to much. I went today and she stripped my membranes again- she said she stripped them completely ~ what ever that means. So I can only keep my fingers crossed that it worked! I am trying my hardest to keep my spirits up but I am just horribly frustrated and I want my daughter out! I found out I was PG when I was 4 weeks along so this has been a long pregnancy for me. LOL. How are you doing? I hope that your time is better than mine has...heck I had morning sickness for the first 5 months too. Yucky. Good luck to you and your family!

I just need to say that I cannot beleive they called to cancel, especially so close to the time and FOR THE BIRTH OF YOUR CHILD! I mean, it's not like getting a tooth pulled or something. That is just so mean. I hope it all works out soon. Best of luck to you!

Iam almost 30 weeks. I was in a car accident while pregnant with my first and have had lasting damamge every time I am pregnant with hip pain on that side. This is my seventh baby...and I am actually doing really well so far. I have had minimal pain-if any. I go to the gym everyday and I think that has helped alot. I am hoping to hear your birth story very soon. I am sorry she doesn't care. Maybe this is it! Hugs***

I was just so disappointed and really thought that this would be it. Well it has been 5 hours now and no more cramping than usual. I have been contracting every 7.5 to 13 minutes for the last 3 weeks and they send me home every time. I sware I am going to give birth at home because I don't want to be sent away again! I have done everything (minus castro oil) that the web suggests about helping induce labor and NOTHING! I hope that this isn't a sign how raising my daughter is going to be. I can only hope that things will only get better! I hope everything goes well with you all! I will keep you updated!
