I had a c-section 4 years ago with my daughter and i am now on my second pregnancy. The doctors (after me argueing with them) decided i could try a VBAC... i am going to try and do this all natural so there is less of a risk for a cesearean.... is natural labor that bad? has anyone had a vbac that could compare the two for me?

My son descended wrong and got stuck and after 4+ hrs of pushing I gave in to the c-section, Jan 2002. I was then pregnant with my daugther only 8 months later and had to interview 3-4 docs to get one open minded for a VBAC. They told me only a 20% chance I would have one. I had friends try and they were unsuccessful. My daughter was born 2 weeks early and I had a totally natural VBAC (much to the on-call doctor's dismay!) and I was never more proud in my life. The recovery was SO much easier, esp. when you have a little one already. And I had a 4th degree tear and can say that. So give it a go, and realize it may not go as planned, but you have to "fight for the chance." to have a more natural delivery. Ask me any more questions if you want to, I'm happy to answer. I know there aren't that many VBACs out there..
