Hi all. I decided to join this group in hopes someone will be here that says, that happened to me too, or I know someone that happened to.. I had my baby boy a year ago. 2 weird things happened during my labor, that everyone i talk to has never heard about. The first is when my water first broke at home in my bed, there was blood along with it. quite a bit of bring red blood. This lasted for about an hour, not flowing alot, but enuogh to think it wasnt just plug or a broken artery. They were alarmed when I got to the hospital. I had placenta previa in my first and second trimester, but u/s showed it had moved well out of the way for the birth. The bleeding stopped, and no one said anything about it again. I wonder what it was?? anyone? Weird thing #2 My water broke 6 times!! Once in my bed, enough that I put my 2 yr old sons diaper on to get to the hospital and it was leaking away lol. My Dr checked me at the hospital about 2 hours after my arrival and broke another water sack. a couple hours later another broke, huge water was everywhere, soaking my bed and making a huge puddle on the floor. I then asked the nurse if this was normal, not exactly normal she said, but ok. (they dont tell you much around here) 4th time while I was walking the halls, huge puddle, soaked my clothes. 5th time, again in my bed, soaked my bed huge puddle. By now I am saying maybe this baby isnt as big as we thought! I was HUGE and could barley walk, sometimes I couldnt walk at all in the end. My pelvic bones clicked when I did walk, it was terrible! The final time my water broke was just before the baby came, my Dr checked me and noticed yet another water sack, she broke it, out came baby. 16 hours after my 1st water broke. This was my 3rd baby. My other 2 came after the dr broke my water in the hospital after labor had started. All of these times my water broke I was leaking, this wasnt just gushes of leaking, these were huge breaks! I really didnt think much of it until a couple months after I had the baby. I have heard of woman having 2 waters.. not 6! Anyone?? I'll also mention the fact that after I delivered the baby my skin was soo loose. on my legs and everything. I was retaining water big time obviously! Sorry for the long post, but hopefully i can get some answers. Thanks! Leah
