I'm so confused, don't know what's happening! I'm from london it's now 10pm here, i've had contractions on and off since half 9 this morn. For the first hour and a half they were every 20 mins then faded out a bit, then early evening they came back a bit more, but still not regular. This is my 2nd, my first was 5 days early and i'm 37 weeks today. It's a full moon...which according to hosps is when they get the most women go into labour lol...is this a really long false labour, or could it be prelabour??

Unless they are painful enough to prevent you from sleeping, try to get some rest to build your energy, then go for a brisk walk to see if it makes a difference. With my 2 previous pregnancies it was advised to me by my midwife that if you're not sure if it's labour, go for a brisk walk, if the contractions don't get worse or closer together it's not true labour. If it is true labour the walk will help move things along & hopefully speed up the process. Unfortunately some women walk around for days in pre-labour until the contractions finally become regular & closer together & real labour begins. Goodluck with the birth of your baby & I hope your contractions become regular soon.
