Hello
I'm due in two days and want to know if castor oil is safe. I'm nervous to try it but everyone seems to swear by it. Help!!!

I had serious problems from taking castor oil. It caused my baby to poop before he was born. I would have never used it if I knew it could harm my baby the way it did.

my obgyn seriously discouraged me from trying the castor oil, she said it works and only too well!! it can induce contractions so strong that you can rupture your uterus and there are chances of things going really south from there. ask your dr. before trying- and also ask a naturopathic dr. one who can recomend safe ways to naturally induce, as there are some of these out there, but castor oil is too effective!!
