I never tried it myself, but I hear that it works for some women. I know it can cause horrible diahrreah, and that there can be some other side affects. I would definitely do some research before taking it. Try a search on line. Good luck!

I tried it last night...and nothing...having little contractions today but they arent lasting long enough for me to go to the hospital...I didnt even get the diahrreah....I took 3 table spoons...oh well guess shes not ready...hopefully these contractions today will do something for me

Did you go in to labor?

no...nothing...im schedule to be induced next week...but the contractions today within the last hour have been very strong...but no baby yet!

I would love to hear how you are progressing, and be sure to let me know how your labor goes. I go in today for my first ultrasound at 2pm (pacific time). This is our second child.

so how far along are you? This is also my second daughter! Im pretty excited. And looking forward to having her next week...or sooner if possible.

I am 10 weeks. My appointment went great and everything is fine. My due date is July 24th, but I will be induced on the 17th if I don't go in to labor on my own before then. I really hope I make it to the induction. I don't want to go in to labor on my own. I was induced with my daughter and felt very safe and secure with it. There was a time line and I knew ahead of time what was going to happen. I also go my epidural before I had any pain, which was wonderful. I don't want to have to wait until my contractions are 4-5 minutes apart and I am in total pain before I get admitted to L&D. I am not good at all with pain and I hate waiting. I could never go natural.

lol...im not one for pain myself...im still waiting...wish i could have this one before the first of the year...a big tax return would be great!!! lol well im glad everything went well for ya...i'll keep ya informed on how things go...please do as well...july thats a ways off but at least you have you can plan for the induction as long as you dont go early.

Yeah, I still have a while to go, but I am a planner and I have a wonderful OB who respects that and is willing to work with me. I can't wait to hear what happens with you!

Well I had my little girl on Monday at 7:50am central time!!! I went to L&D on Sunday 2 times...The contractions werent lasting long enough. The 2nd time they gave demeral...Doc said it will help progress things or stop it all together. Well at 2:30am on dec 31st i called the ambulance cause i was in so much pain...I wanted to get more pain meds...lol thats all i expected....When I got to the hospital, I was dialed to a 5, that was at 3:40. 4 hours later I had my baby!!!

Congratulations! What is your little ones name? How big is she? What does she weigh? With my first I was in labor 11 and a half hours, soundslike yours went pretty fast. I am hoping this one will be quicker, but not too fast that I can't have an epidural. I actually got my doctor to agree to induce me at 39 weeks so that means I will be admitted to L&D on July 17th. I love having the date already set. My first was induced so I am very comfortable with the whole process. How are you feeling today?
