i have my doc appt today, so hopefully something has changed, even if i have another week to wait knowing im farther along rather than sitting in the same place having all this pain and discomfort will make it slightly worth it. my doc made me feel like it would be any day but its been a week, so now im starting to pull my hair out and im not even past my due date, i dont konw how you ladies did it being OVER due.

oh yes! the doc apt was very dissapointing, unfortunately. the last week when i went in baby was very far down and she felt tht would send me into labor very soon, but this week she apparently has floated back up, still head and face down or whatever, but shes not as "ready" as last week. i am like half a centimeter more dialated but everything else is stilll the same. ive been doing a smuch walking as i can... its pretty uncomfortable to go any farther than around our block, and were trying to have s_x regularly but that too can be pretty unfomrtotable especially the day after lol and i already have issues walking...but were trying. i think i have come to the point whre i already didnt get to have her when i had hoped so from this point on she can come whenever she wants...i would really not prefer halloweeen but oh well. id also prefer to have already had her and be able to be home by then but lol again oh well.

it's funny how we go through stages awaiting labour. from what I can tell everyone has a breaking point around 37-38 weeks--"GET IT OUT!!", this is where people start talking about castor oil and stuff...then at some point you resign to the whole process. kinda like the stages of grief...denial, bargaining, ...., and eventual acceptance. I don't know all of 'em.
