I am a mother of 3 beautiful children, and we are considering having a 4th. I am 32 years old , and I was wondering with my age are there increased complications for child birth?

I wouldn't worry, you are still young!!!! If you were 40 or older I would be a bit more concerned, but you are still in your prime childbearing years! Of course if you have any concerns, talk to your physician. Each birth can go differently, but you have gone through it three time before so you know what to expect. Good luck!

I'm 30 in Decemeber and nearly 7 mths pg with our fourth and I thought I was get_tng old! Most women I know are or have had their first child in their 30's, some almost into their 40's all with no problems. Of course at any age there can be problems, but I should think you'd be fine. I agree with fasha12, you've ha three healthy babies with no complications, go for it! :-)

I don't think the risks increase at all until 35. I'm 33 and pregnant with my first. I'm not a health nut or anything and I haven't had any problems so far (31 weeks). I think you should go for it!
