First, congratulations! Second, holy cow! I went through HOURS of labor before I was 4 cm! Good job! The +2 is the baby's position. It goes -3,-2,-1,0,+1,+2,+3, BABY! :-) So you're definitely engaged which is great. Baby is right there. Boy, you must be uncomfortable. S_x always got my contractions going, but in the end getting a membrane sweep was what put me into labor. Good luck!!

I am currently in the same situation and i have every single sign that labor is comming, and it hasnt yet. The most effective ways are walking, sitting with your knees below the pevlic bone. Both of these help to get your baby in the right position and love things along. You need to relax as much as you can and get as much sleep as you can aswell. It could be anytime now that you have the baby, and going through labor and delivery with exaust u beyond imagining. One thing my doctor did tell me that is a great advantage to being dilated or dilating, and +2, being in labor and having contractions, is that your labor wont last as long as most becasue your almost half way dilated, and you did so with out labor and contractions, witch also makes for a less painful labor. It is also good becasue you are alot less likely to have to have a c-section. I hope that knowing that helps you relax more, knowing your one of the lucky ones, lol. Hope you all the best!!
