I was just reading all your posts and you gals are so funny! I'm only 14 weeks so I'm still able to see and shave for my appts. but I have always kept that area shaved - I just feel so much cleaner that way. I hate hair! lol. Especially for my OB appts, I always make sure to shower and shave right before. Its just a personal thing, but I'm sure they really don't care. I do it for me, ya know.

with my last pregnancy, I shaved and tried to keep things under control down there and to my suprise, the labor and delivery nurse complimented me on it! I was caught off guard by that comment and wanted to disappear right then and there! lol!!

I am 37 1/2 weeks prego and I have shaved the whole pregnancy, and before. Although it is very hard to get every area, I try. My hubby has volunteered to help me out with the shaves closer to my due date so it won't look terrible.

No, you're not weird. I let my pubic hair grow and thought maybe I should shave before I have the baby because I read some stuff about pubic hair being shaved while giving birth so I ended up shaving again.

I'm 38 weeks 2 days and I haven't been able to see down there, let alone shave, for at least a month or two! My fiance shaves for me, and he seems to enjoy it, like it's some science project or something! lol

Ha ha ha I love this site already! I have shaved as far back as I can remember and I shaved thru my first pregnancy and I have done the same thru this one. I don't like the hair and I feel much cleaner. As far as being able to see I can't but I can feel and that is how I do it. I think I do a pretty good job for being blind so to say. My bf has tried twice for me but has made a few painful mistakes so he is banned form the area with anything sharp lol.

I have always shaved "down there" and now that I am getting too big to see what's going on under my belly (35 weeks) my husband holds a mirror so that I can see to shave. :)

i just trim with the electric clippers, i cant stand when the hair grows back. It gets too itchy, and i have really sensitive skin in that area that i can almost feel every little hair growing back in TMI sorry. Im 40 weeks tommorow and im too big to see anything so i just guess and feel and hope that it looks half decent LOL. Im sure it doesnt most of the time, but docs understand.

I shave as well, but stopped for awhile when I cut the c___p out of myself at one point because I couldn't see. Now just the sides by feel :)

I also use an electric, its just easier so you don't get cut. But I put towel on the ground and prop up a mirror. My husband has also shaved me.

I shave for my dh but just trim when I see the ob. I feel weird since he is guy, it is like i am shaving for him or acting like a p___n star or something. HA HA I didnt' realize so many women did it before their appointments. I will have to rethink it.
