Has Anyone Else Experienced This

yesterday i went to doctors and when she did internal told me that i was 2 cms dilated and than last night went to hospital due to alot of contractions.. the contractions stopped after an hour and they sent me home well i lost my mucus plug today and now i am having alot of pains in my lower stomach and also my lower back... this is my third child... could this mean i am close to delivery?? oh also my cervix is 70% thinned out.

if it's your 3rd child, then shouldnt you know what labor feels like?
..call your doc.

If the pain in your lower back is coming and going, you be experiencing back labor.

I would just start measuring contractions. I don't know if this is your first, but if it is I would recommend waiting until your contracting regularly at 5 min apart for awhile. Sometimes pre labor, or before your 4 cm can last a very long time and you might even be there already. But they usually only want you at the hosptial when it's close to or at active labor.

I think the last thing I would be doing was asking questions on the net and get my b___t to my Dr.

Some of you people are a little harsh!
Every labor is different.
But I do suggest asking your doctor if there's some way to ease your discomfort until your baby is born!

vikki24, labor isn't exactly the same every time. I am expecting my 3rd.. I was induced twice and have no idea what early labor feels like. I would call the doctor terri !

welll hi everyone.. i would agree and say that every labour is totally different... oh by the way he was born on june 2nd... this was not even the real thing.. i went into the hospital the next day and they admitted me to keep an eye on my blood pressure cause it was low and also the babys heartbeat was high at 200... well the next morning is when i started to go into labour and they sent me home on a day pa__s cause i was not dilating or thinning out anymore.. well i left the hospital at 11:00 and thought that i would go out for a coffee with my dad and his gf and by 1:00pm i was back at the hospital and was dialted to 7cms... and than he was born at 3:14pm.. this labour was alot different than my other ones.. the first i was induced so no idea what it felt like the second time around to go into labour naturally and than with the second woke up with contractions that were like period cramps every ten minutes and went to the hospital he was born 1.5 hrs later and this time the pain when the real labour started was sooo horrible..i defintely found my third to be the longest and most painful.. thanks everyone that was nice was bout the question i asked.. i was just a little concerned because the stuff that happened this time would have meant i was extremely close to having the baby the second time around... but the third was alot different for me.
