I had the exact same coloured mucus yesterday, i am 39 weeks +4 days , my midwife gave me a book at the start of my pregnancy to help me with any questions i may have had, in this book it described it as a show, im not too sure of that is the same thing as a mucus plug though! good luck!

those definitely sound like the mucus plug to me. Mine was the same way with my first pregnancy, about the same number of weeks too. But I didn't go into labor until I was 39 weeks, so don't expect labor to start, although it might.

mines happened yesterday and since then i have had cramps like period pains, i have a membrane sweep tomorrow, do you think this will help me go into labour?

Yes, I believe this is your plug. It is tinted a little orange due to a little blood being mixed in with it. I am 39 weeks along and just lost mine; it had a reddish-brown streak in it; this is completely normal. Good luck!

i ve been having a yellowish/greenish discharge is this do to haveing std or am i pregant

Jennifer you might want to try a different forum like "general pregnancy" questions. All women on here are pregnant and are most likely about to give birth soon, the only way you will know is if you go to the doc and have a pregnancy test done. But if you are having a discharge, its prolly a std or an infection especially if it is yellowish or greenish.
