At my last doctors appiontment he told me the baby was getting too big that I measured 39cms when it should have been around the 36cm mark he said if I'm too big at next weeks app then They may induce me .This is my third baby and I'm worried if there are any dangers involved?

I was induced with my last three (I have 4). I had no problems from being induced at all. I've heard that the labor pains are more intense and come on faster. I never noticed any real difference myself. But if that does happen then, that's what the pain medication is for. :) Good luck!

be careful w/ inductions, wait if you can.
i can't say for sure, but i was induced and wound up w/ a c-section. now i did have a 8 lb 13 oz boy and he was posterior. but i was induced and had back labor for at least 14 hours before they decided to take me emergency c-section because of fetal distress. ask your doctor to try other methods to self induce first. such as stripping the membranes or herbal things. everyone is different though! i wish you luck!
