I am 35 weeks pregnant with my first child. I lost my mucus plug all at once this morning. I have had cramping but don't know if that is what a contraction feels like. Will I be going into labor any time soon?

well im 41w4d and lost a LARGE chunk of my plug at 36 weeks. im still losing little tiny pieces everyone once and a while. so it doesnt necessarily mean you'll go into labor anytime soon.

bef98- your cramping is not a contraction because if it was, trust me.. you wouldn't be able to type that post. LOL.. I know everyone says "you'll know"... but, you really dont until it happens.... anyhow, I lost ALL of my mucus plug at 32 weeks when I was 1 cm dilated. It regenerates and I kept losing it again and again as it regenerated.. at 36 weeks, I believe, I actually had the bloody show with the mucus. ANyhow, I gave birth at 39 weeks 4 days. I was 4 cm dilated for 3 weeks and was losing that mucus plug stuff from 32 weeks until I delivered. I wouldn't worry, it will keep regenerating.
