My Dr Stripped My Membranes Is It Working

My dr stripped my membranes this morning, about 7 hours ago, I then came home and hubby and I had s_x, I had a little bleeding and brownish discharge. I also had slight cramping and some added pressure. Since it has been 7 hrs and nothing has happened does this mean the stripping didnt work??

My girlfriend was 4-5 cm dilated when her doctor stripped her membranes, she was in labor 2-3 days later. Good Luck!

I had my membranes stripped twice. I didn't go into the hospital until 2 days after the 2nd attempt and wound up having a c-section. I did feel a lot of the cramping and pressure though! Good luck!!

I have had my membranes stripped twice. Friday the 23rd of september was the last time. I am now 3 days overdue. So no it didn't work. Caused a little cramping both times. Second time I lost some of my mucous plug a little spotting. Both times my BH. increased in intensity but not duration or amounted to anything. Lots of luck to everyone else though:)

Were any of you already having any contractions before your doctor stripped your membranes?

I had my membranes stripped on 9/15. I had some mild cramps but nothing to get excited about. I walked 1 mile on the treadmill and ate fresh pineapple. The next night I was in early labor and stood in early labor until 9/17. I was so afraid they would send me home from the hospital so I did nipple stimulation ( keep in mind I was already in early labor) and my contractions started coming every minute. They kept me and I had a beautiful baby boy on 9/18.Good Luck

my doc stripped my membranes on sept 27th my due date and i lost some of my plug also no crampin and no pressure though. She did it again today and nothing at all were gonna try again in a couple days hopefully something wil happen cause im 9 days over due now how annoying

What does it feel like when they strip membranes?

I had my membranes stripped with my first child.I went into abor two hours later! I am now due once again on Oct 22nd. The dr. stripped them about an two hours ago. I am also two centimeters dialated. I guess its a guessing game.

i had my membranes stripped about a week ago and nothing happened except that it help me diailate a little bit more! but it didnt throw me into labor like i hoped! good luck
