i'm due in 10 days. when i went to my ob today, she tells me i'm not dilated at all. does this seem normal? shouldn't i be dilated even a little bit??

Is this your first? I didn't dilate until a week before due date on my first, and that was only to a 1 then slowly to a 1.5. By 40 wks I was a very tight 2 they said. So I think it can be very very slow, then happen all in a matter of hours as it did for me 3 days past my due date. From a 2 to a 10. Good luck!

Oh, and I'm 37 wks with my 2nd baby now and as of 3 days ago I hadn't dilated at all either.

I had my 37 week appointment and was NOT dilated AT ALL!!! Two days later my water broke and I had my son!!!!!

i am due in two days and am not dialated at all....which is soooo disappointing.....but hopefully it will happen soon.

This is normal, I'm at 41wks and still not dialating. I'm hoping when I go to the doc Tues I'm ready to have the baby that moment. I know women who walk around for weeks at a 3, I'm starting to feel like something is wrong with me also, but my doc says it's okay. Some of us just take longer.
