Not Just Castor Oil My Sister Tried

Okay so I see all this talk about taking castor oil. My sister took mineral oil and then castor oil (seperate times i think) each 1 oz bottle mixed with OJ. She was 37 weeks and she had the baby the next day! Not sure if it worked, but baby was healthy! what I mean is I can't say for sure if it was the mineral/castor oil that did it or she was going to go into labor anyway. Any body else heard of this?
