im at 41 weeks i was 1cm now im 0cm but im having contractions whats going on with me is something wrong

My doc told me that it is normal to not be dialated at all with your first child untill you are completely thinned out and start to actually go into labor. They could have just measured wrong, a midwife told me about 2 weeks ago that I was at 2 and a couple days ago I was told that I was only at 1. I'm sure that you are fine, have they told you if they will induce if you go too far past due? Personally I have never heard of someone being pregnant forever but then again I suppose there is a first time for everything :)

I was about 1 cm when I went into labor with my first. I was also dialated as well. You can go from nothing to full b__wn labor it just depends on the person. I know doctors don't like to go past 2 weeks so your fine. Pitocin is ok, as long as they give you epidural first. They can also insert something in you to speed things along.
