Pencil test said girl. Ultrasound said girl. Chinese lunar calendar said boy. I am almost certain I am having a girl, and the pencil test has worked on everyone we have tried it on. We used a needle on a piece of thread stuck in the eraser of the pencil. It said girl then boy on my mom, correct, then it said girl then boy on my aunt (correct), and it said gil,boy,then girl on me. My ultrasound said girl too. We did it on my bf just for fun and it said girl, boy, then girl. So well have to see if we have a girl, then a boy, and then another girl, but this one is a girl.

Yeah, it worked for my mom, my grandma, my aunt and me. Well they did it on me before I was pregnant, so it can also predict before you even have kids. Mine said i was having a boy and then a girl. Right now Im pregnant with a boy.

to arpitha .. when looking at your wrist.. from elbow to fingers is a boy, and if it goes across your wrist.. (the way a watch band goes around it) then it's a girl. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant, and according the the ultrasound, and the pencil test.. i'm having a girl.

This is my forth pregnancy. I am 33 weeks. I have three boys' and really want a girl. Pencil test says girl, but ultrasound said boy. It didn't look the same to me, but that is what the gal said. I am trying really hard not to get my hopes up. Any suggestions or advice?

I just did the pencil test and it told my previous two.... boy and girl.... and then predicted a boy for this one. I should be having the baby in a few days so I'll let you know!

Yes it works i tryed it on my great grandmother before she died and it showed all of her kids in order and what they were and before i went to the doctor i had done it it said that i was having a boy and sure enough im having a boy. good luck with your little girl

My mom has done the pencil test before, and it goes in order of when my siblings and I were born, girl-boy-girl. ( I'm the youngest.) My aunt did it and it said she had a boy then a girl, which she has, and it also predicted another girl. She is pregnant and is having a baby girl in June.

What does it mean when it swings diagonal? It has always dones this. Anyone know??

Head to toe means boy, side to side means girl. Circles mean nothing, the pendulum is thinking and positioning itself.

Luna, when I do it my boys' show up the opposite of that and shows that I am pregnant with a girl, but the complete opposite. Side to side for boy and the finger tip to elbow for a girl. Yet keep in mind I am being told that I am pregnant with another boy via US. Only five weeks to go!

Danielle - there are so many versions of this that it's hard to say who is right. The version I heard is correct is what I wrote above. It shows side to side for my daughter. I am preggos again and it goes head to toe, so I guess we're having aboy.

The test showed me i was having a girl but two ultrasound scans prove i'm having a boy!

well i havent heard of the pencil test just the one with your rings..and if the ring thing is right then...i am having a boy again!
