i have a question. I went to my dr office today for a check up and he checked my cervix and said that it is shortened and that the baby is putting a lot of pressure on my cervix. I am almost 31 weeks, and i am just curious if it sounds like i am going to go into preterm labor. I am not dialated. He told me to stay off my feel though. What do you guys think? Any advice?

dont believe everything the doc says about you going to go anytime..ive been told that for 5 weeks already..when you cant walk or talk, thats when you know you are going to go..

No one can tell you when labor will come or how close you really are. :P

DONT WORRY...I was 34 weeks and 1cm 60% effaced and they said I would go early, well I am now 41+3 and have an induction date of next wednesday. I would recommend not having s_x as that had brought on lots of contractions and could bounce you into early labor.
