Did anyone ever feel like they had the flu before they went into labor as well as during labor. Any idea's about getting rid of the nausea? Please help, I'm 5 days overdue

This is my first pregnancy so Ive never had it, But in my labor cla__s they did say that is a sign of labor... having the flu that is! not too sure what do say about getting the nausea to go away, but you may end up going into labor soon.

My sil had the "flu" (may have been real may not have been) for a day or two before she went into labor. My mother also told me that w/ all of her kids (6 of us), her system "cleared" itself out. I don't think she was talking a ton about nausea but of loose stools. I also know that I am dilated to 3 (have been for 2 weeks) and I've had 2 days of contractions that were hard and 5 minutes apart. They weren't really bad contractions just very uncomfortable. When I had these I was very nauseated feeling (although I've been nauseas a lot this pregnancy so...). I mentioned it to my doc and she said that often contractions that make you dilate make you nauseated so...possibly a sign but not necessarily.
