I don't know for sure, but I don't think that has to do with your water breaking. I did a TON of walking before I went into labor and my water never broke, the dr did it as soon as I got admitted to the hospital. And boy is that a weird feeling. You feel like you're peeing a river with every contraction! Walking definately helps going into labor I believe though and it's healthy so do a lot of it if you can. When are you due?

My water broke when i squatted down to get something, i know that it was the squatting that did it but i asked a nurse at the hospital about it breaking and she told me it would have broke on it's own anyway b/c it was just ready to. So it really depends on whether your water is ready to break or not.

I was sitting on my couch and felt like something was going to come out ( like when you get your period) so I got up to go to the bathroom to make sure everything was okay, I got half way to the bathroom and it all came out. I didnt do alot of walking or anything.

I dont think it has to do with anythiung either- I had a bulging bag starting at around 37 weeks with my last pregnancy, went running, etc and my water had to be broken once I went into labor at 38 1/2 weeks.
