Okay ladies. This is a time to speak your mind. I NEED opinions! what would YOU do?? My LMP was feb 22 (i think...I know the last day it would have started was the 26). When I got my LMP I went online to see when I was fertile and it said March 9-13...but even then my then bf and I didnt really come to reality so we were not careful (if you know what I mean). March 13 my then bf made me take the morning after pill because we got scared from all our unproteced s_x when I was probably (and most likley fertile). March 16 rolled around and I got drunk, and slept with some guy. I know there were two condoms (one got dry), and he had a little hard time getting up (because we were trashed), but I don't know how good the condoms were used since we were trashed. Anyways, I've had four ultrasounds and different conception dates. 6wk said march 5-8, 10thwk said march 10, 19th wk said march 12 and 21 wk said march 15. The March 15 scared me so bad after the u/s i went outside and cried...haha..anyways, my obgyn told me he is sticking to the date from the 6wk ultrasound for me due date (which is Nov 29) because he said earlier the ultrasound the better, and now ultrasounds go by the genetics of the parents and so forth. Now, with THAT said, I need your HONEST opinion....would you be confident enough that this baby was his, if you were me, to have my ex boyfriend in the room when the baby is born? or would you be scared from the chance it could be the one nighter and just have a family member and close friend at the birth? thanks!!!!! (I am posting this on different boards to get all the opinions I can)

If you have any doubts at all, I would not have the men in the room while giving birth. However, eventually I would get a test done to make sure who the dad is for the baby's sake and for your peace of mind. Just an opinion. Good luck!

Is this for real?? It just seems odd that you would have so many ultrasounds, insurance only covers so many. Plus, most Dr.'s won't change a due date unless it's quite a bit off. Something sounds fishy........

I was also not sure when I conceived my husband and I were told we probably could not get pregnant naturally and that I would have to be implanted, but I guess they were wrong, my doc also told me that the earliest ultrasound is the most accurate. You are definitly in a serious situation there would be lot of emotions involved, but in my opinion you should ask yourself if your comfortable with your ex being there, you need to be comfortable. I also think that you should explain this to your doc and see what he or she says they would know the strength of the morning after pill, and if you were pregnant and took it, if it is possible for you to still be pregnant, but I would be concerned to find out if that could have caused damage to your baby. Amanda103 I just wanted to address where you said about having so many ultrasounds, I am 39 weeks preg and have also had 3 ultrasounds, but I live in Canada and we do not have to pay for health care other then prescriptions and elective sergeries, so it possible to have 4. I would definatly recommend a DNA test, weather you think you need one or not, you owe that to your baby, you made the mistake not your child and I would definatly be finding a more effective from a birth control after this child is born if you think you might find yourself in this situation again, it is ok to make mistakes, but it isn't ok to let our children and the next generation suffer because of it. Good luck with everything.

Amanda103: First, I would like to thank you for answering my post. 2nd - I wish you could have worded your answer a little more nicely. Yes...I am for real...why would I be making this up? The 6 wk and 19 wk ultrasounds were from my OBGYN, and the 10wk and 21 wk were from a local pregnancy center. I got the 21 wk ultrasound because the 19wk one from my doctor they couldnt tell the gender because he was breech - so the center said they would do one to try to see the gender and so forth. They did, and it's a boy :) Ashley
