ok a little history before I go into detail... I have had four healthy babies prior to this...
now, I went to the er because I started spitting four days ago, it was pink at first... Called the midwives they said no concern unless it's bright red or brown... Well two days ago I have had cramps, mild, and bleeding. That's when I went to the er. They did blood, pelvic exam and a vag u/s. Was told I had an empty sac, the other had a fetus but no heart beat. I am 6-7 weeks he wasn't for sure. He's never seen anything like my case ect. Wasn't very assuring, frankly made me feel like there's no hope. Said that the empty sac would miscarry 89% and the baby has less than a 50% survival rate.... Honestly I walked out... I called my midwives and made an appointment after telling them what has happened.
im still bleeding on and off, mostly at night I have to wear a liner... I have cramps from time to time but the heating blanket helps... I've never had a miscarriage before, I just wanted to know what to expect, if any one has gone through this?
Just wanting to feel like I'm not the only one... Hubby is taking it pretty hard...
