Bleeding Outside The Cervix

I am 10 weeks, and last night I went to the bathroom and discovered that I was bledding. I was not having any cramping. The bleeding got better and was virtually gone within an hour. I did however go to the doctor, and a heartbeat was detected by ultrasound. The doc did a speculum exam and said that the bleeding is actually coming from outside my cervix. He said it was from erosion of the tissue, and that its common. Does anyone else know anything about this? I can't find anything anywhere.

HI I AM22 WEEKS AND I ALSO AM BLEEDING FROM THE OUTSIDE OF MY CERVIX MY DOCTOR ALSO SAID THAT IT WAS NOTHING. NOT TO WORRY. SO GOD BLESS AND GOOD LUCK.

Hi Maria, try looking on the net for 'cervical erosion', maybe that's what it is. I am at 5 weeks & have cv, but no bleeding, only a discharge so far. :)
