Braxton Hicks Contractions

I'm 26wks pregnant and I have 2 other kids so I'm constantly on the go until today when I started feeling contractions.....is this normal this early?....I know with my other 2 that i didn't have them until later on. The doctor told me that it could come from s_x.... :( which is not what i wanted to hear...lol...the only joy i have this hot summer....lol... and what could i possibly do to make sure i dont go into "real" labor.

yes im 33 weeks with my second child and i had brixton hicks as soon as 20 weeks with this pregnancy
