I have been having menstrual like cramps for about 3 weeks. I'm 5 weeks 5 days today. I had my first visit last Friday and was told all was well, but it seems the cramping is becoming more frequent? Should I be concerned? Should I call my dr. today even though it is Sunday or can it wait until Monday?

It's on again off again cramping for me. It feels like you are going to start your period? My doctor, mom, friend, who have all been pregnant said they had the same thing.

i've heard that if you experience cramping without bleeding that you could be dehydrated. try drinking tons of water

with my first child i had little cramping in my first trimester, my doc said it was just "growing pains" making room for the baby. If your not bledding heavily im sure you are alright

None of you have to be concerned with the cramping during early pregnancy. The only time you should worry is if you bleeding. With my first child I had severe cramping. With this pregnancy yet again I am having severe cramping. I understand in early pregnancy no matter how many pregnancies you have that you worry that they aren't just your uterus growing, but that something is wrong. Unless you are bleeding it is normal to have cramps. Yes there are cases where some women don't get the cramping at all, but most women get it.
