Dialation and Curattage. This is a mildly invasive procedure in which the inner linning of the uterus is sc___ped away usint a tool called a curette. Access is gained via the v____al ca___l so no cutting or st_tches are involved. Recovery time is usually short and although there are some risks as with any surgery, there are usually no complications, pain or discomfort afterward. I had a DandC about 2 years ago, after a misscarriage. I bled, like a period, for 3-4 days afterward but had no pain or discomfort afterward.
