I just had a D&C on 11/24. About 6 hours after the procedure I felt fine. I was up and about on Thanksgiving, and even went to the mall the following day. That Friday evening is when the cramps hit, and the bleeding/blood clots increased. It is now Sunday, and I am still experiencing pain and bleeding. Has anyone experienced this? Did I over do it to early? I am calling my doctor tomorrow, but any advice would be helpful.

Hi Lisa,
I experienced that same thing. I bled lightly for the first few days and then about five days after the d & c I cramped and pa__sed large clots.
Supposedly it is normal, but if you think the clots are relitively large or you are changing your pads every hour, call your Dr. Hope you are feeling better
