HCG Levels And Miscarriage

I am 10 days late for my period. However, I have been spotting for the last couple of days. Generally my period is very regular and fairly heavy. I took HPT last week, but was negative. I have also went to dr for blood test...stillwaiting for the results. The spotting got heavier today, but still not as heavy as my normal period. And, I feel like I am beginning a miscarriage (had first missed m/c in Sept. 04). Does anyone know if I have already begun m/c before the blood test, would the HCG levels still determine that I was pregnant (if I have not fully m/c yet)? My family dr is on vacation and the dr I went to will not do any other tests until the blood test comes back. I'm concerned and anxious...this kind of stress is not good!

I was bleeding like that too. I heard some preg women go through pregnancy bleeding. I also had heavy days light days brown blood and pink blood it's my 24 week and my pregnancy test says negative. Just the last 8 weeks I skipped my monthly. My body is changes as if I was preg.

if you were/are pregnant, your hcg levels would still show. Sofia is right though, some women have periods when pregnant. Miscarriage would be heavy, not light.
