Is There Any Hope Left At All

I was wondering if anyone had a tubal ligation that failed and went on to have a healthy baby. I had a tubal ligation done in April of 2002 and since then I have had two miscarriages. First being last year and my most recent one on my birthday of March 29th. I'm wanting to try again, but not sure if it is even possible to carry a healthy baby after a tubal failure. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Lots of love all.

I don't know much about this - I think you need to talk to a specialist. If you have one tube left - IVF may well be possible. Possibly you even can do it without tubes but I'm not sure about this. I've been through IVF and I can't say I'd recommend it (it's painful, expensive and stressful) but if you're desperate for a baby it may increase your chances significantly. I'm 11 weeks pregnant after my first attempt though am high risk for losing it as I've been bleeding since week 6 and have a large blood clot. IVF normally only works after at least 3 attempts (success is age related so get started asap) and involves injecting yourself daily for a few weeks and then an operation for egg collection and then the embryos are put back in the womb. That's why I think you may not need good tubes - though you may need one for the egg collection. Good luck.
