I had my first son last year and am 9 wks with 2nd. my first weighed in at 10lb 2oz and natural delivery. What sort of size could this one be and is another natural delivery likely?

I have five children my girls were 7lbs 11 oz, 7lbs 12 oz and 8lbs 6oz, My boys were 8lbs 10oz and 9lbs. I found for me that my boys were bigger and I am 12 weeks and wondering if this will be a big baby. Each child is different you cannot really compare your first with your second or any pregnancy after words. I have found that if you or your husband are tall people than it could be normal to have a big baby. My husband is 5' ll" I am 5' 6". Just remember each pregnancy is different.

i have 3 and my kids were 9lbs 2 oz 10lbs 8oz 7lbs 14oz but she was 3 wks early

neither of us are that tall, im 5' 2 my husband is 5' 5. guess i better hope for girl!

Jo, It could be that maybe somewhere in your family line there were big babies. Who knows it's just a guess. I thought having a 9lb baby was bad, I do have friends who have had 10 lbs and bigger. I hope this pregnancy goes better for you where it comes to the size of the baby.
