Low Amniotic Fluid At 8 9 Weeks

Does anyone know anything about low amniotic fluid at 8-9 weeks? I started bleeding last Wednesday (and have been steadily bleeding since -- not a lot, though), and my OB/GYN said she was concerned because I have a low fluid rate. She did say that there was a heightened threat of miscarriage but not horribly so. Has anyone ever experienced this? Thanks...

At 27 weeks almost short of 7 months I lost my little girl due to Low amniotic Fluids...I knew this during my 20 week ultrasound when she was measuring at 18 weeks and really never progressed. Although the hopes were high on my end the possiblities for a recovery for this very low and we wanted her to weight at least 1 lb before we could deliver... I heard her heartbeat on thursday and saw hear on the ultrasound and then the doctors said it was time to intervene and scheduled me into the hospital for the following tuesday...To my dismay when i went into the hospital they could not locate her heartbeat and I delivered her the following morning. The medical term for this is oligohydramnios. Good luck and best wishes...MaryAnne
