Low HCG Levels And Bleeding Is There Hope

I took a pregnancy test the line was faint- went to the docotors the next day started bleeding. he sent me for blood work and I go again in 48 hours. Has this happened to anyone else and went on to have a healthy pregnancy?

I am in the same boat with you. I have to wait 48 hours to find anything out. I am sooo worried.

I am also in the same boat but I took a pregnancy test that was positive then when I went to the doctor he told me that my HCG levels were normal for a 5 week pregnancy. A couple of days later I began to spot. I went back to the another doctor and he said my levels had went down within those 2 days. He said that I may not be miscarrying. He said that it just may be that the machine he used was different from the one my last docter used. But now I have to go back to see if anything has changed but im still spotting so I dont know whats going on its been 7 days.

Hi. This won't give you any hope, but I thought I'd give you my story...I too have had faint lines and have had my HCG levels monitored by the doctor by 2 weeks...they went from 63 to 100 to 112 to 145...and the blood continued. I have been bleeding for about 4 weeks, on and off...sometimes red...sometimes brown. I'm having a D&C tomorrow where they'll see if I do have a uterine pregnancy or if it's an ectopic. I'm really bummed, but the doctor said with those HCG levels, it's not a viable pregnancy.
