I am currently going through my third pregnancy. My first two ended up in miscarriages at about 7 weeks of pregnancy. I am currently around 7 weeks with the third pregnancy.
May background:
Date of last Menstrual Period – May 22th
On 7/08/2005 – I saw some spots and got scared and went to the emergency room. I was released from the emergency room later that day with the following results.
HcG – 3110
U/S Report – A single intrauterine gestational sac is noted containing a fetal pole. Crown- rump length measures .3cm which is equal to 5 weeks and 6 days of gestation. Menstrual Age is 6 weeks, 5 days. No fetal heart motion was detected due to early fetal age.
I have not seen any spotting since that day. After the visit I went to see my Dr. and he recommended I take another HcG test on 7/11/2005 the results for that test showed a HcG value of 4756. I have taken another blood test today 7/14/2005 to see the rise in the HcG level will not have the results until 7/18/2005
The number is not doubling again and is this a sign that I am going to miscarry this pregnancy as well.
Any advice would be helpful
Thanks,
