I m/c according to dr. at 5 1/2 weeks.. it is now...7 1/2 weeks...no d/c .. dr. wanted me to pass it naturally.. question is when does the bleeding start?

Stacey, i was told the same thing at about 5 1/2 weeks. it took me about 2 weeks before i started bleeding. Now im wondering when will it stop!

I am going through the same thing. They have confirmed I am having a miscarriage as my numbers go down....but very little bleeding. My husband does not want me to have a D/C, but I am worried. How long can you wait before a risk of infection?

Im going to the dr. on Monday.. Valentines Day, sigh, to get my check up to see whats going on...I'll let you know...

I would recommend the D&C I have heard how painful it can be to pa__s it on your own. I had a D&C in Nov. and it was fine I was glad to be back to myself and not have to go through pain and bleeding for weeks. The emotional trauma is enough to deal with.
