Do you always have to have a dnc with miscarriages. Or if you are not to far along it will pass by itself?

i had a miscarrage about 2 months ago and my husband said that it will clear it self and it has so i don't think everyone needs a dnc hope this helps love ray xx

Had a miss at 6.5 weeks over Memorial Day. No dnc, now almost 12 weeks pregnant again. Don't think you need one, but you do need to confirm you pa__s all the tissue and your hcg goes back to 0. If not, you'll need the dnc to prevent infection.
