Possible Miscarriage But Hcg Slowly Rising

I had my first + pg test on 11/22. I didn't think I was pg but had a strange cycle and didn't know what else to do. LMP was 10/7 and we would've conceived about 10/22. Then my "period' was about 1 week late on 11/12 which was somewhat normal but continued bleeding until 11/24. On 11/23 went to OB and confirmed + results and had exam and cervix was closed and blood HCG of 1296. On 11/24 had a normal US and va___al US with nothing found - lining was thin (cyst on left ovary which they said was normal). Then on 11/25 HCG was 1548 (very small increase). I now have to wait 1 week for another HCG reading. Not sure if I've already miscarried, am going to - or Dr. suggested the pregnancy is earlier that I had thought (I can't understand how??). She didn't want us to get our hopes up since this doesn't sound promising. Any help or anyone in similar situation??? We haven't told anyone since we wouldn't know what to say!

BTW - forgot to add, they haven't ruled out ectopic - but didn't see it on the US. Right now I have to watch the hcg levels and if continued rise go in for another US.

I am actually going through the same thing. My HCG levels are rising slowly and I have had an US, but it is too soon to see the heartbeat. I am suppose to go in on December 20th to see if I can see the heartbeat yet. I am about 7 weeks pregnant. The doctor told me the same thing that my HCG levels are not looking good so it does not look promising either. I wish I could give you an answer, but I am in the same boat!
