My sister, who is 38, never been able to get pregnant, all of a sudden, she's pregnant, about 4 months, she went for her ultra sound on monday, three sacs--all empty, hcg levels have gone from 2400 monday to 1600 thursday. we have been preparing for a baby, the doctor says she IS pregnant, but she will miscarry, if the sacs are empty, how is that classified "pregnant"?
