I am supposed to be in my 8th week, give or take a week. I began bleeding on Jan 5th and went to the ER. Doctor there said I was at 5 wks and 6 dys along. He also checked my blood levels and cervix. My hormones were at 7000 and my cervix was closed. Two days later I went to the ER again because the bleeding was a bit heavier, yet light in comparison to heavy periods. That doctor did some blood work which showed my hormone level was not at 14000 but only at 7356. I was not too concerned but then he said my cervix was closed and based on the previous ultrasound report he said there was no baby. He wanted to do a D/C. I went into the Ob office on Jan 12th and the doctor said that I was at only a six week size but did not do a pelvic exam or more blood tests. My mother was with me and said the baby looked larger than the first ultrasound. Today I had another follow up with ultrasound and he said that the baby still has not grown and cannot find the heartbeat. My br___ts are still waking me up at night when they grow and my nausia is still bothering me. I will not do a D & C unless God needs me to finish what he has started. Has anyone else had these issues? Is it possible the doctor is just reading the size of the fetal growth wrong? How can I still have symptoms but no living baby?
