I was just wondering... I'm 33w and 2days, at my last Dr. appointment my fundal height was measuring quite small. I was hoping that anyone else as far along as I am, could give me some insight as to how big or small you measure. Also, any idea of how much your baby approximately weighs?

From what I've read, your fundal height should be 1cm for every week of pregnancy. Ultrasounds are not that accurate in predicting the weight of the baby, either. I had an ultrasound at 36 weeks and they said my daughter weighed 9.5 lbs and induced my labor. She weighed 6.

You can measure your fundal height yourself. Lie on your back and feel for a muscular ridge above your navel and below your ribs. Measure from the top of the pubic bone to where you feel the ridge, and that's your fundal height. Maybe you should ask the doctor to do an ultrasound, or maybe your due date is off and you're not as far along as the doctor thinks you are. Also, I've read that the baby will gain about half a pound every week during the third trimester...that would put your baby at about six pounds at delivery.
