I am 21 years old and I have had two miscarriages in less than a year. They occurred about ten months apart. I was told by my doctor that it is normal to miscarry during the early child rearing years. She said two miscarriages were also very common. Well I think I'm pregnant again and I'd like to know if my child will survive. I'm already having small cramps but no bleeding.

Unfortunately, there is no way to give a confident answer to either scenerio's. Your child may survive with no complications, or maybe not. If you do have any concerns, remember that you have the power to speak with your doctor and make sure you get the best follow-up care possible. Whether you doctor says this is very common, I can understand how you may be worried, it is a natural concern as a pregnant woman. Good luck to you.
