I too have had brown discharge, only is was a big spot on my sheet. Went to the Dr today and he says so long as it is brown and doesn't come with any severe cramping and doesn't last for too long (over a few days) and isn't tooooo heavy, it's fine. Brown blood is old blood, left over from past period or could be implantation bleeding. You should be fine, i wouldn't put too much worry into it.

Im so sorry, I don't know what to really tell you. You should talk to the doctor about your miscarriages, there maybe a way you can try to prevent them or to aleast see what is causing them. Good luck!

I have had brown discharge for 2 days and my levels were checked and they are currently dropping...I have had no cramping or red blood..just spotty brown discharge. They said I will miscarry this weekend. This is/was my first pregnancy and I don't know what to expect. I have heard that brown discharge/spotting is normal in early pregnancy, but in my case it was not. good luck to you. Hope it all turns out ok for you!

I am having that too- but my case is a bit different. I am ttc- aftera D&E. So I'm not sure if my brown cm and spotting when wiped is from that or a sign of pg. If anyone finds anything out, please keep us posted. Also, AMY- sorry for your loss! :(

I had a miscarriage last year and am now 7 weeks pregnant. I started to have a brown discharge yesterday and mild cramps and thought the worst. Most books say mild cramps are normal - but what is mild? In the end I was so worried that I went for a scan and the doctor said he could see the heartbeat and isn't worried about the discharge as it is quite normal! I do advise you to get a scan done to put your mind at rest - and to stop you worrying! If you have experienced miscarriages before then it is only natural for you so be concerned. It is still early days for me and I am just keeping my fingers crosed! Lots of good luck to you!!
